The solid maple Toddler Bed Crib Conversion Kit has a rail that replaces the drop-down crib side and converts the crib into a toddler or youth bed. The rail can also be removed to make the bed into an open-sided daybed or loveseat. The best mattress  to use with a daybed is a natural rubber as the edges are more sturdy, or our innerspring with edge supports.
